How to manage & motivate your employees! 14th December 2012 3:55 PM
I always found a big stick helped and the threat that there were 2 million people after your job if you got it wrong !

Oh yea then i was told there where laws against that - we are too soft in this Country - work hard & you are rewarded, mess around & you cant be removed from your post - whats that all about

I do feel sorry for those people in the media spotlight caught up in the current 'He did this to me 30 plus years ago accusations' It does seem unfair and unjust to those who have been arrested. Mud sticks, so careers and reputations will be affected forever. Only those who are actually charged with an offence should be named rather than what seems to be happening at present, police informing the press before an arrest warrant is carried out on a celebrity and the media arriving at the accused home before the police have...

Totally agree Barney - i have said this many times in multiple posts - careers have been ruined already, although some do manage a mini claw back. No names should ever be released until they are found guilty, allegations are not sufficient evidence to be trialled by the Press!

John Leslie was never charged but accused, Matthew Kelly was another.

Be interesting how Mr PR deals with this

Seems now new footage shows he didnt break the rules.

I think the sport has a long way to go before it can be claimed to be transparent and although team orders are now allowed, hasnt actually changed anything it just means they can publically switch cars on the track ( or off it).

Love the sport - hate all the politics & appeals that goes with it and there doesnt seem to be a level playing field for all drivers with no consistency from the stewards.

After the highs of a 3rd straight F1 title it seems Mr Vettel could have to wait a bit longer before fully celebrating after news has emerged that Ferrari may be considering an appeal!

Seems Vettel over took a Torro Rosso under yellow flags, i didnt see this myself as i was watching BBC coverage but apparently Martin Brundle did commentate on it for Sky viewers.

Smacks of sour grapes to some extent but the sport IMHO has always been dogged by appeals over performance issues and pushing the "spirit" of the sport to the extreme and some fairly unsportsmanlike tactics are used.

It would be a shame to see the title lost or won on such a decision but an overtake on yellow flags is against the rules and in the past drivers have been awarded a drive through if spotted during the race or a 20 second post race penalty - in this case it would drop Vettel down 2 or 3 grid slots meaning Alonso would become the Champion.

It is only a chance, at the moment, they will appeal - how badly will the sport be affected by such a decision?

As a fan i would feel cheated but rules are rules & it would seem Vettel broke them, but why wasnt this picked up by the FIA before hand if Brundle spotted it & why didnt Ferrari appeal at that time?
