Can't see Jimmy Choos going anywhere, that's what they've bought, the name.

Mind you, thought it was Chinese takeaway chain till I got married

LOL No worries. The first time I ever heard about em was watching an American TV Show. Have been curious ever since.
What would entice you to buy 24th May 2011 11:53 AM
If you are open and honest with me and not hide information from me. For example, if you are selling turnips, and you want me to buy from you, rather than your competition, telling me things like, they are home grown, explaining the process where they are grown and harvested, etc. This would work in your favor. However if you told me all these things, and one of them was either a lie, or a deliberate way to get my business and not your competitor, you would not only lose my business, but everyone I talk to that mentions turnips.

Most people work that way. If you give them great service, loads of useful information, instead of information that distracts from the product, and back it up with a great product, then you're set.

So many people make that mistake, seriously. They tell you what they think you want to know, and not what we're supposed to know, like the turnips were cultivated near a nuclear power plant..... (<- my new favorite smilie).
I would say its the brand. Yea, the shoes are amazing. I just don't think that so many women can only dream of shoes like that, or even wearing a brand like that

From where I am, you cannot get a single Jimmy Choo let alone clothing from places like Versache etc.

I wonder what they are going to do with the brand once the sale is completed. Do you think they will still sell Jimmy Choo's?

The astronomer, whose name I have long forgotten, gave a 30 minute presentation that sent me out of this world and into another strange but very excited place. I can still remember this event because, although the visual display was out of this world, it was the astronomer who left a deep and lasting impression upon my young mind.

That's really cool I have always been fascinated by astrologers. Did he/she have some interesting views on professionalism? What was the impression he/she made on you?

Hi,
I agree with all the point mention in above thread. But here are some points that should be asked yourself.
1. Do you live up to your commitments?
2. How do you behave with others.
3. Do your managers see you in the right light?
4. What
Hi there.

After deciding what your main keywords or keyphrases would be, the first thing I you could do is make sure that your web page is properly optimized. Make sure that all your images use the alt tag descriptions and that your keywords are used in your page titles, meta details and meta keywords. Some may argue that the meta keywords are useless because spammers have abused them for too long, but it does help a little in indexing a site.

Once that is done, you can then begin working on your off page SEO by using any or all of the above mentioned areas like social networking, blogs, videos, podcasts, press releases, placing banner or other ads around the net..

A few things you need to remember though, always make sure that whatever you decide to do is of good quality. Don't resort to small blog posts. Use a lot of detail to let people see that you are an expert in your chosen area. The more information you give, the better people will think of you and your business and this can be a good thing for both indexing and your business' reputation.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your venture, I hope it all works out for the best for you.

I agree. I recently started learning about and working on internet marketing and I have to say I cannot believe the amount of people that ignore many of the rules either set by the industry or the search engines they are trying so hard to rank well in. It's made Google take a closer look at their algorithms and leaves us ethical IM's working harder to gain our ultimate goals.

For me, my work is done ethically, which means black hat and spamming are a HUGE no no. I believe in quality over quantity, which has served me well so far. I think which hurts the most is looking at the work done by the dark side and seeing how it impacts our work and how much harder we have to work to surpass them.

Key factors I believe should be a part of every IM's work is:
  • Honesty,
  • Humility,
  • Benevolence, and
  • Honor,

This reflects in your work, your reputation and the companies you work with.

I recently put mine on zymic. works well and has support for just abt any coding program from php to sql. You name it. Its also free and you can have as many hosting accounts as you like. so its great for testing sites etc. as well.
you could try opera or safari. I used those as well and they worked rather well without too many problems. but i also seem to go back to firefox.
