Have to agree with Steve's points. Signing up to a multitude of directories won't reap any great advantages. These days it's all about the networking and interaction!

Steve's right - they're easy (ish) to set up but they're a lot of hard work.

It's incredibly expensive for what it is, hardware-wise.

I find it incredible that Google's products aren't more successful - they have an advertising billboard in nearly everyone's house, every single day so why don't they use it?
Remember that Social Media isn't new - it's at least 15 years old now.
If it had said 14 million, I wouldn't have been surprised - but Billion is just staggering.
Can you help me choose a SatNav??????? 20th September 2011 12:58 PM

PentagonGPS is where I bought mine.

I've just bought a TomTom GO Live 1000 as my old 730 was showing its age.

These latest models have a capacitive screen (as on iPhones/smartphones) so you don't have to put your finger through the screen just to tap a button.

TomTom units also come with 'IQ routes' which calculates up to date route information based on millions of journeys taken by motorists every single day. It's amazing the little shortcuts it finds.

Don't buy from TomTom direct though - outlets or even eBay will get you them

No doubt the new regime will remember their friends when rebuilding work and oil contracts are in the offing.

The only reason we assisted in the first place. It had nothing whatsoever to do with 'humanitarian effort'.
