Remarkably the original batteries still work even though a sticker on the box suggests they are for 'demo purposes only' and would need replacing after a short time!! I am thinking of selling it to get some quick cash for a lads weekend and wondered where best to do it? eBay is my obvious thought but wondered if anyone here knew of a better place for collectible toys?? Thanks, Simon Selling domains 25th August 2010 2:43 PM So how do you know if you have a 'great' name ![]() Wanted: Developer to create module for Magento 25th August 2010 11:54 AM I am still looking for someone kind and generous to offer their services for this... ![]() Simon UKBF down?? 19th August 2010 11:59 AM It seems they might be having server issues as I have tried for the last 20 mins to get on to it, without success... Anyone else managed to get on it? Simon Selling domains 18th August 2010 1:14 PM Yep, exactly that. Worth a try and you never know, it could just be what someone is looking for at that time so can't harm asking. “Can't see any reason why not, assume you mean you'll email the likes of vodaphone etc via their info email or any contact mail you can find.” Selling domains 18th August 2010 11:49 AM I have several generic term domains via sedo that I wish to sell privately and I wondered if it was OK to approach companies via search engines based on the key word results or generic term. For example, I have a generic term domain which relates to large button mobile phones. Would I be OK to approach companies selling these to see if they wanted to make an offer for the domain via sedo? I am new to domain selling and wondered if this sort of touting was acceptable? Just looking for some friendly advice ![]() Thanks, Simon Parked Domains 16th August 2010 5:18 PM Cheers Steve, not sure why I didn't just check the whois... must be having one of those days ![]() ![]() Parked Domains 16th August 2010 4:33 PM I decided to move my domains to Sedo a few days ago after a few recommendations. I had an offer for one of my domains at the weekend - see below - it seems it might be an appraisal scam but I am not sure why and if that would work?? The 'offer' came from a chap called Jerry Eisenberg at name-deals.com - anyone had dealings with them?? "How much do you want for your domain? We have found it listed for sale and we have a good offer for you. Our comapny invests in domains and developed sites. If you have a list of domains for sale, please send the list with prices in plain text. We prefer ".com", ".net", ".co", ".co.uk", ".us" and easy-to-remember names with other extensions.
