Simon Insane Rain!! 12th August 2010 4:45 PM Nearly 3 hours on from original post and the rain has barely let up. Getting quite worried now... but not nearly as worried as the guy on support who decided it was such a pleasant morning he wouldn't bring a jacket... ![]() Wanted: Developer to create module for Magento 12th August 2010 3:12 PM As the title suggests, we are looking for a developer that can create a Magento module that will work with our EcomMerchant gateway. Whilst we are not in a position to pay for the creation of the module, we can offer referral fees for anyone that you send through who successfully signs up for our service as well as a link to your site via our developers page on our 'payments' section of the website. We will also recommend yourself for Magento development/site creation should a merchant come to us first. We have had other modules created this way successfully (including PrestaShop recently) and we are very keen to add Magento to the list. If anyone is interested please forward your details. We can provide pay page integration documentation, plug-in creation guide, test account and test card details. Thanks, Simon ![]() Insane Rain!! 12th August 2010 1:52 PM Is there anyone else in the South Manchester area today? The rain here today is of insane proportions... seriously. If it doesn't stop soon I fear the banks of the Mersey might flood making me stranded at the office all night! The only saving grace is that there is a canoe school just up the road! Oh, and before anyone shoots me down, I know the floods in Pakistan are horrendous and a million times worse (I have donated to the cause via UNICEF) but I was just looking out of the office window and couldn't believe how bad it was. Simon Breakfast meetings 5th August 2010 4:16 PM Clive - the business card idea sounds like a good one... might have to borrow that ![]() I think I will go along and see what it is all about and whether it can benefit us in any way. I think convincing my sales guys will be another matter... the 7am attendance might be a bit of a stumbling block ![]() Breakfast meetings 5th August 2010 3:28 PM What are your thoughts on these? Have any of you attended one? Have you had any sales as a result? Am thinking of attending one myself in the local area. Then, depending on how it goes I may send one of my sales guys to one, to see if we can strengthen our connection with local companies and help to promote our brand through meet-and-greet. Thanks Simon To my wife 30th July 2010 4:37 PM Congrats Mark! Got married myself in April so heres hoping we can reach the same milestone as you! Simon Leased Lines 30th July 2010 4:08 PM Bit of a Friday afternoon rant/grumble here... Customers ask for leased line quotes every so often... before going through the process of creating a full quote you tell them it will be ballpark Looking for a bulk email sender 28th July 2010 4:24 PM Hi Steve, I haven't used it personally but an ecom partner of ours - ekmpowershop - has a service called ekmresponse that you might want to check out...
