I've just started using Twitter about a week ago and I am doing exactly the same thing just by interacting with people they can see who you are and what business you are from. There is nothing worse than just spamming the page with offers and promotions all I do with people that do that is unfollow them
I have planned on getting some leaflets printed as part of my new website promotion but thinking about it I don't think its worth it as what I sell is not aimed at everyone. I sell gluten free foods which obviously only appeals to people on a gluten free diet, with this in mind do you agree it's a waste of money printing leaflets and is there a better (offline) marketing option I should try?
From what I understand and have been told a lot of people are a bit cautious in taking on an MD, I understand this but surely it's a sign of great success when the company you started yourself from nothing has been built up into something great. I would be thankful to get to that point and when needed not hesitate in taking one on
If its actually a Christmas shop and it sells all year round that's not as crazy as starting in July
I imagine it depends on what sort of business you run as to when you start with the Christmas build up. Harrods had theirs up end of July to appeal to the tourists
To be fair when the shares went on sale all the financial experts warned people not to go anywhere near them so it's their own fault. The people that bought them early on did well out of it though
It seems the shops get earlier each year they may as well just leave it out all year
So I was told that M&S already have their Christmas window display in the shops and its not even September yet, how far in advance do you all start planning for Christmas?
