I have planned on getting some leaflets printed as part of my new website promotion but thinking about it I don't think its worth it as what I sell is not aimed at everyone. I sell gluten free foods which obviously only appeals to people on a gluten free diet, with this in mind do you agree it's a waste of money printing leaflets and is there a better (offline) marketing option I should try? Hello Harry Printed leaflets can work very well. I would suggest approaching health food shops, nutritional health clinics, food fairs etc to see if they will allow you to leave batches of your leaflets with them, before printing. Let us know how it all goes. Holborn Direct Mail 020 8683 7155
As someone who hates junkmail and will pounce on anyone strolling down the garden path with more garbage to chuck through my letterbox I absolutely hate it, so I've always stayed away from the idea of sending leaflets / junkmail in other peoples houses. Having said that, recently we've had a job in a block of 100 odd apartments, so just out of interest I got my printers to knock up just enough leaflets to target just this block, managed to talk them into doing it for free and if they worked I would order 10,000 flyers for other apartments. To my suprise 6 of the 100 residents came back generating over Thanks, Barney
I may be biased, but let me tell you, offline marketing, particularly leaflets, is growing again. Google have proved that their offering isn't right for small businesses, reports coming out give indication that average small businesses are seeing 12p to the Thanks, theflyerexpert
Leaflet distributers seem to be earning good money..... ![]() Thanks, Barney
It's not too bad, at the end of the day, you want to make sure that your leaflets are actually delivered, so you go with a larger company who guarantee checks and in some cases GPS tracking. There's also lot of driving around to be done with leaflet delivering, and the price of transport is very high as we all know!!! Thanks, theflyerexpert
Someones creaming a lot of profit on distributers because their not earning Thanks, Barney
That's ok for big orders, but not small orders. Also, I'm talking about reputable companies who pay for office space, gps technology and insurance and pay their staff well...paying less will get half your leaflets chucked in a bush. Thanks, theflyerexpert

leaflets are expensive! and most of them will end up in the bin... if your product is a niche product then you gotta project 99.9% of your leaflets will probably go straight in the bin without generating any results... it works well for local restaurants and takeaways but not for anything else... try food fairs where you can show off your products and directly engage people who might like to try your products BoBo_184 |
