I'm a child of the 80's and only discovered the Dr recently "David Tenant", but oh my god he is amazing !!! And the new doctor is even better, a prime example of brilliant casting. My one hate about the current doctor is his companion that couldn't act if her life depended on it, Amy I think it is (I try and block her out) I was massively impressed to hear she got the boot and wont be around for any further episodes.
