Businesses that Aren't Yours but that You'd Recommend

Bit of a random one, but my girlfriend had a cake made for her mums birthday and it was amazing. It was a beach house with, with miniature versions of her mum and dad and their dog. It was absolutely amazing !!!

I think the company was called Pauls Creative cakes

We do this on my own forum, where we have various businesses from around the country. Admittedly it is Predominately pest controllers but the forum is open to all that wish to view it. We found that it works very well. Similar to Trusted Trader Scheme but it is from our own members that have employed these trades people.
My Next door neighbour has a cake shop in Swadlincote and they make specialist cakes, the only trouble is they are moreish ,
Place is called Delicious Dishes if you look them up ask for Jo and mention that Steve from It Has 2 Be Done told you, they are really really nice cakes. my mouth is watering just thinking of them.

Always good to hear about good business and their services. Those web based would interest me mailny though in preference to locally based. But regardless of offline or online it's always important to treat customers with respect and appreciation and they will generally be loyal to you.

For me it would have to be Web Reactive - Affordable small business website design & online marketing. A great team who provide great professional looking websites at affordable prices, along with providing some really valuable online marketing advice. They helped me with my WordPress website, design and creation - offering suggestions in terms of usability, plug-ins to include and have been really brilliant with SEO. Nice service, good team and quality website as a result.

On a completely different par, I stumbled across Eco Chic Living as i'm really interested in doing things cheaply yet beautifully for my own apartment. Anyway i contacted Sophi one of the owners and she was super helpful in giving me tips, techniques and places to go to search out old stuff that could easily be recycled into something fantastic. Great service (even thought i didn't buy anything), great resource (if you're in to that type of thing) and have some lovely items to purchase if needed.

That's it for now - need to think of more businesses who deserve a mention as I love these type of places, rather than the norm of bad press some businesses get!

pretty new to this whole forum thing but giving it a go anyway!

Love the idea of recommending businesses as its not often people compliment the good, only focus on the bad!

So lets start...... i would recommend Emirates. By far the most customer service friendly airline I have ever encountered, I will only fly them from now on!

I recently renovated my kitchen and used Direct Online Kitchens. They are a Yorkshire based business and not only are there kitchens amazing quality but the prices are just fantastic! I had a great experience dealing with them and can't recommend them enough!

Finally a big thumbs up to McCarthy and Stone assisted living. Its nice to see my mum is being taken care of but still has her own independence. They do a great job!
