On this day September 11, 2012 we take time to remember those who lost their lives, those who were paralysed, those whose lives were changed in an instant. We honour the heroes from that morning and thousands of other mornings when peace was chosen over war.

The events of September 11, 2001 touched millions of people throughout the world. For each life that was stolen, a memory and a legacy was left behind to carry - and for those who carry them, life has changed forever.

I encourage you to take this day in remembrance not only of what was lost, but also in celebration of everything that we have in our lives. The families of victims from that morning would give anything to spend one morning with their loved ones, I encourage you to go out and live today to the fullest that you can.

reading this thread I started to wonder about music being played on home made youtube videos, is a licence need here too

Will relaxing the planning laws make a free for all in deciding what to add to their homes. Only last night I was visiting a friend and one of the houses opposite is having an extension (with planning permission) and planners have not taken the area into account with the application. This is a row on 1950's style semi's and this extension comes about 10ft out in front of the house line.
It is also 3 storey why the houses are all 2 storey.
When monstrosities like this can pass planning what have we to look forward to with no planning required.

We are in an age when it's important to have video on your website, but remember to add a good description as Google can't yet read video - notice I said "yet".

My first thoughts here was that Pinterest was very like the PIxel Advertising craze we had years back.

Maybe the Mayoral party were rushing to some Olympics Torch Ceremony but could at least have waved. Remember years ago being in a London taxi and sat at traffic lights when the cabbie said "look right", there beside us was a Rolls with the Queen Mother and the gracious lady gave us a great wave and smile!

Looks like Europe is in real turmoil, new leaders that don't fit in to the system and countries in financial crisis. Heard a rumour that prosperous countries are lending money to debt laden countries so they can actually buy more goods from the lending country. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Always good to hear about good business and their services. Those web based would interest me mailny though in preference to locally based. But regardless of offline or online it's always important to treat customers with respect and appreciation and they will generally be loyal to you.
