Thermal imaging camera 31st March 2013 6:58 PM
Does anyone use a thermal imaging camera, if so which one do you use and why, i have looked at several different makes, fluke keeps coming up as one of the best, and judging by the price i would hope so.
I am looking to purchase one later in the year and want to do my homework first. i am looking for a general all rounder, if thats possible. but i mainly require large areas to be scanned at a single take, not loads of small pictures.
no one is saying that the police are involved, quite the opposite, it is con men using the guise of police advertising to con us out of money, we raised the subject with the police when it happened to us and the relevant department knew nothing of it, and so they investigated only to find that some of it starts from abroad.

Thanks for your replies,
i hope we get busy on all sides of the business, after a bad year on the pest side we need the mould and insulation side to really kick in.
We have started to build a nice little business within the contract side of the pest control, which is giving us an income without overcharging the customer.
As an incentive to customers we have frozen our prices for another 12 months, and so we would have been at the same prices for three years by that time the best of which is the

We have finally sold our house after 3 years of trying, (just got one that we rent to sell now) the property that we have purchased was a nightmare, the seller did not exchange and complete contracts till 4.10pm the day before we were due to move.
Then we inherited a builders skip of rubbish that he refused to take away.
We have had to spend a lot more money 12 months sooner than expected on the property, which now mwans that our work schedule has been turned inside out and upside down, talk about bits being done in the wrong anticipated order. But hey its a beautiful house, and it will be even better when we have finished renovating it.
We just have to hope for more work in the door now in order to help pay for it.
We still cover the same areas as before, but now we live in the middle of our work area instead of on the edge.
If any of you need our services please click on our signature and you will be sure to find It Has 2 Be Done, we need the work.
To add insult to injury it took 3 weeks to get our internet up and running, but now we are on here agin we intend to make the most of it.
Bad Payers 15th September 2012 8:17 AM
I have been paid for the last visit, presumably my diplomatically written letter worked. However i wont work for them again.
the best of it was over a 7 week period they had 5 visits to sort out moles and we caught some on every visit after the initial laying of traps. and as i was paid for the first 4 i could not understand why i was not paid for the last one. but hey thats business.

Not worried about what she says about me, the point being that she has always paid, on time, this time she is being silly and so it will go down wherever it goes, according to her attitude at the time. I have chased less money than this through the small claims court and because everything i do is in writing i have always been paid.
I wont be working in her area anymore anyway and as we are vetted by the office of fair trade i have to keep a paper trail of all that goes between me and the customer.
She has a large house which doubles as an expensive B&B, as well as a business in her own right, Her husband has made his fortune and i mean fortune in his business, and so neither could afford the risk of me taking it to the small claims court.
They have always been good payers and so a lot more coprrespondence will take place before that is even suggested to her.
My payback comes when she tries to get a local pestie cheaper than me to carry out the same work, most of them wont touch her now they know she pays for so long, then stops paying. Even her housekeeper has stated in front of a witness that if she pays on time it will be a first.
I am not too worried about it but we will see what her response will be after the next letter.

Yep that is an idea we are kicking around for future use, i am glad i am not the only one with that thought,

Yep they are told to their face as well, before we actually start the job.
i have dealt with this customer for approx 2 years with no probs till now and so she is aware of how we work and as we tell them on every visit they certainly know.

They will be back sooner or later and so i wont work for them till i am paid up, and i may not even after that unless i am paid upfront
