What do you think about rail fares? 20th August 2014 1:56 AM

well to be honest.... I don't think I can really say my true thoughts..... I am worried I will be banned

However I think it unfair to raise the prices as high as they have, especially when they are trying to encourage people to go back to work, peoples weekly budgeting on commuting, will not give workers a higher standard of living. Also I would assume since the environment is a concern to a lot of people, encouraging public transport would be a benefit if it was reliable and affordable. but all this is opinion and not fact, however my personal annoyance is the town i stay in (a large town south of glasgow) 6 days a week has great service about 3 trains an hour to the city on a sunday, trains in once an hour (which is an annoyance but I believe most people have something similar) HOWEVER between 7pm and 10:30pm (ish) there is no trains between glasgow and my town BUT you can go between my town and Glasgow during that time. So i do grudge paying the "normal rate" for an "unnormal" service.

ooh good to get that rant out

TRUE ROMANCE...! 20th August 2014 1:28 AM

Love this and love the subtle dinosaur shadow lurking in the cave door  so if any of the cavemen hit someone too hard on the head, they can "hide the evidence" to said dinosaur.  And in my opion humour should not be invaded my the "PC Police" or "Captain Kill-Joy". There nothing wrong with light hearted humour as long as no malicious intent

Thinking of making a play list in the background whilst I do edit work from home. What songs/artist do you listen to either at work. Or in the morning to motivate you, get you in mood for a productive day?

I don't know I am young, in my mid-late twenties, and I find it quite aggressive. It will appeal to some people it almost has the style of the tabloids where they have BIG LETTERS ABOUT SOMETHING EITHER DANGEROUS OR LIFE CHANGING. However saying that it wouldnt put me off the website if i know the content is good.

It's also important to make sure your name doesn't violate any legal restrictions, like these: http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/about/gbhtml/gp1.shtml#appA

btw thanks for that I never knew how much legal things to consider when naming a company was very informative.

If you want to change your 'may share' to 'will share'...I really wouldn't take offence

na i don't want to change it to "will share" ...why would I want to do that...when I should change it to "have shared"  all the best Also am i aloud to recommend other fb pages to promote your site on? I am part of a few thing is my service doesn't do well. most of it is either crafters of people selling things they can be gifts (either to themselves or friends) I want to give you link as you may get a few sales from it but i don't want to break rules and get banned quicker than I get banned from pubs on nights out in glasgow  (that is a joke I am very responsible ) Just my passion is about promoting business (thats the purpose of my company) I like to see other people do well. Business shouldn't be dog eats dog all the time

Talking of kids names...that's where I got my business name from!

KemPres Retro...

Kem is the first part part of No.1 son's name and Pres is the first part of No.2 son's name

And the Retro...well we're a little bit retro

Now I am going to spend all day trying to guess the name of your kids  But like the website, i may share it on fb I have a mate who LOVES all things retro this be right up her street. Her other half may hate for it she ends up buying more things but ah well

lol Paul PMS..... but it is true finding the right name can take a while but it will happen

this is interesting. I'm not 100% fully decided but i am swinging towards the yes (or AYE MATE! as we would say ) for a lot of reasons. I know at the start it will be tough but I think in the long term the benefits would be huge. Also another thing that is important to me is the creative arts. Scotland has a lot of talent but the programmes and films get made up here are minimal. I think after the commonwealth games a lot of people will have the confidence to vote yes. Because people don't like/scared of change. And for that reason I wouldn't be surprised the the No vote wins.

Personally, I called mine "Resonate Media UK"  I do business photography and Video with the intention for companies to "resonate" with their online presence. All I would say is stick to something you like, that when you tell someone the name of the company you don't shy away. Also another thing you got to think you want something that will look nice on a logo and make sure sure if u abbreviate it, it doesn't spell out a naughty word . A few people have made that unfortunate mistake.  but yeah what i did was a word map i think it called, just cause it good for brainstorming. eg for this i would right in middle estate agents, then think of words relating to it, such as home, house, property, move etc and try see if that inspires me  gd luck and let us know what you come up with Lou
