Don't overthink it. Just pick the phone and call them. You'll find that most people are really nice and will speak to you or advise you. Ask them for relevant information, advice etc. Be straightforward and tell them exactly why you're calling. At least, that's what works for me - I'd just tell them the story about my mentor and about me starting on this new venture etc. 

Oh, almost forgot. If they can't help you or are unwilling to speak to you, ask them if they could refer you to anyone who might be of some use to you.

I probably should not say this, but we're not meant to be equals. Of course, you should feel and be safe while traveling or staying in a hotel, but generally - It's bullocks.

I've given up on news sites or tv news altogether mate. I'll admit that I sometimes still glance through a few sites, but I agree - it's pretty pathetic to prioritize getting some easy clicks over real news.

I bet they'll cancel the show with the new line up real quick.

I think the trend will continue and we'll see many changes in the near future. Just look at how Twitter has changed breaking news etc. Everyone just tries to stay relevant and in today's terms "relevant" means what happened a minute ago haha
