I've been a non-smoker for the past 6 years. I quit cold turkey and never looked back. I did not have to think about it, I did not have to use willpower to resist smoking urges - there were none.

A family member gave me a book on quitting smoking by Allen Carr. I read it, I dropped all the excuses and I realized that I would have to be sober until my skin gets thicker and I can drink and not smoke. And for that, I'd have to quit hanging out with certain people for some time. After a couple of months of being sober and not smoking, I was able to go back to my drug of choice - whiskey, and not smoke.

Oh man, the difference it makes doing sports.

I suggest that book to everyone. It's not magic! It just takes you by the hand through all of your excuses and shatters them to pieces.

I'm still on Win7 on all of my windows machines. I'm not sold on anything windows until it's proven to be better than something good they've already made.

I'm more than willing to find you the videos on youtube or a free course on WordPress, but just in case I'm misinterpreting your posts... could you clarify what exactly do you need help on?

You said that you've installed it. That's out of the way.

Did you struggle on running it aka posting, themes and managing all that stuff?

Or maybe you found structuring your blog a nuisance?

I'm just trying to get a sense of where you're at on the being techy scale

Do any one of ya'll care to share your reasoning behind voting to "Stay in" or "Leave" on the poll?

That's exactly what I was about to recommend.... 

What problems did you have with WordPress? Would you be open to trying it again if I'd recommend you a free course or some videos to setting it all up and running it?

Couldn't agree more on "marketing and consumption" ruling the day, all day every day.

In my personal life, I strive for less and less clutter. The more I unplug myself from all kinds of social networks, useless activities and filler "busy'ness", the more I get to enjoy those quiet moments I do nothing at all.

There's something lost on most of the people nowadays... No one is ever bored anymore, but I find that that's exactly where the magic happens. I think about it every time I imagine the greats coming up with their schemes, plots, and maneuvers.

The book that I found really useful on this subject was "Dan Kennedy - The Ultimate Marketing Plan". I'd highly suggest anyone read it, if you just think it's a pie in the sky numbers etc.

I took a look at your site. I know I've suggested it before to someone here, but you would do a lot better if you'd just install WordPress and a good looking free theme. Then your site will look legit John.  And it's not hard at all.
