Fearless drivers on the loose.. 23rd January 2017 9:32 AM

And we all thought drink driving was bad, well you haven't heard it all yet I can assure you...

Obviously we know that being on the phone whilst driving is illegal; that's why a lot of modern cars are now made with built in systems that allow drivers to use their phones through the car rather than faffing about trying to find their phone out in order to answer it.

The M27 hasn't been very friendly in the last few weeks as police scan the motorway looking out for careless drivers, and oh did they find some careless drivers. Police reported that one man driving down the motor way was eating cereal from a bowl on his lap, EATING CEREAL They also reported that another man had his mirror down shaving his beard whilst driving down the motor way Now what a sight that must have been.

I know I shouldn't laugh really because this could cause a major accident especially whilst driving at a fast speed down the motor way, however why would you even consider participating in such activities whilst driving

Other drivers were stopped also:

  • 137 were caught using their mobile phones
  • Others were stopped for reading books or eating
  • 25 motorists were caught speeding
  • Eight were pulled over for careless driving
  • Other drivers were found to have no insurance, no tax and insecure loads

Watch out

Might of considered singing for him, depends how good the pay was

Hospital or hotel? 20th January 2017 9:58 AM

Fun fact of the day is that James Paget University in Norfolk is soon to feature on TripAdvisor for a low rating of hotel service. Apparently the hospital have finally discharged a male patient after two years+!!

Personally I didn't know you could even stay in a hospital ward for that long

The hospital had said that the man was 'fit for discharge' shortly after he arrived in the summer of 2014 and was offered appropriate accommodation however refused and managed to keep his bed until the hospital had no choice but to apply for a court order to remove the patient.

The man has now said to have been placed in accommodation within the community.

Surely something should have been done sooner

Didn't know the NHS offered a free hotel, if only the televisions in the rooms were free. Would have been a bargain

Embracing 'Girl Power' 17th January 2017 3:11 PM

Do chefs come with the kitchens?  because I wouldn't be very happy if that wasn't the case

There's a very good reason why designer kitchens exist..... so women can be happy....

Embracing 'Girl Power' 17th January 2017 10:03 AM

What a fabulous idea! All females love the saying 'girl power'; so why not bring it to life.

It seems that a lot of businesses are very male dominated and many females feel out of place within the business environment, male attendees outnumber females five to one; therefore a business woman herself named 'Shelly Zaris' has come up with a solution.

Its name is 'The girls lounge' anyone attending any major business conferences this year will come across the 'The girls lounge'. With white sofas and cushions with glitter writing, this is the place the females will want to be.

The idea of creating this lounge is because many females who work with a high number of males feel like they don't really get much time to be feminine at work moreover this allows them to take time out and embrace their inner female.

Lounges with similar motives have previously included beauty treatments for business women including face masks and manicures

Shelley Zaris reports that:

"We have to stop fixing the women. We have to fix our mindset and re calibrate our mindset on equality and understand men and women are all equal. Until society and corporations value the individual strengths of each person we won't progress,"

"This is their boys' club - for women to get to know other women.

"There are masculine and feminine styles of leadership and we encourage women to find and lead with their strengths. We need both [styles] or we're all the same,"

I loveeee this idea

Starting a blogging sindacate 16th January 2017 9:09 AM

Hey Eiffion, have you tried surfing the internet for different ideas for blog posts? There are some great websites that really help you get started when beginning in the blog world.

http://www.localvisibilitysystem.com/2014/01/16/100-practical-ideas-for-small-business-blog-posts/  This website was very useful for me so take a look.

You need something that is going to attract a wide target audience, the trick is to not just always write for one particular audience. Also do you have any social media pages for your business? If you have, make sure you are sharing your blog posts on to them as this will encourage a lot more engagement.

Pyjamas in a supermarket 13th January 2017 1:55 PM

Might try this one myself

If ever challenged, you could just say you accidentally sleepwalked into the supermarket, and thought "oh, well, might as well do the shopping, now that I'm here!".  : - )”
