Home First Aid Kit 9th May 2017 3:31 PM

Good point! I have never actually thought of this- I cut my finger the other week and we didn't even have any plasters at home So I had to go out and get some whilst my finger was wrapped in Tesco's finest kitchen roll

I must admit, I have just got back from Tenerife, flew with RyanAir which was a mistake.

Two drunken passengers sat behind me on the outbound flight.

It must have been the 10th beer this guy had ordered...

Air hostess didn't have his change so asked if it was possible to wait until she had finished serving the rest of the plane and then she would have his change- he said that was fine, however as she continued down the plane he muttered she was a stupid b**** and then began to shout abuse at her until he received his £5 change.

It was terrible, the poor girl!

Could Labour be the right move..? 25th April 2017 10:47 AM

As a young person who has only just turned 18- I feel I may be persuaded by the Labour Party. It seems to have some good things up for grabs.

First time voter and all, I want to make sure I make the right decision...

I have been reading quite a few articles in the past week about the Labour Party and what they offer seems to be quite good:

  • Scrap Mrs May's Brexit plan - outlined in a White Paper in February - which envisages leaving the single market and customs union
  • Focus on a deal that "retains the benefits" of both organisations
  • Guarantee the legal status of the three million EU nationals living in the UK on its first day in office
  • Press for a reciprocal guarantee for the 1.2 million Britons living on the continent
  • Replace the government's proposed Great Repeal Bill - which would scrap the 1972 European Communities Act and transpose myriad existing EU laws applying to the UK into domestic law - with an EU Rights and Protections Bill.

Seems worthwhile to me..

But am I wrong?

Will the June election go ahead? 19th April 2017 9:06 AM

As most of us know, as it has been all over the news. Theresa May has called for a snap election on June 8th of this year. Don't ask me why she has called for this election when she has over two years left until there has to be another election

The nation is very confused as Theresa May herself has performed what the BBC have called a 'U-turn' as she previously stated she would not be calling an early poll. The only way this election will take place is if two thirds of MPs back the move and agree that this should take place.

So far the Labour party and the Liberal Democrats have welcomed the early vote with open arms, and I wonder why

The BBC have reported that:

In her interview with the Sun on Wednesday, Mrs May said "political game playing" risked hampering her Brexit negotiations, with some opponents "trying to stop us every step of the way".

Explaining her U-turn, she said she had had a "real opportunity to think this through" during a walking holiday in Wales with her husband over Easter.

"What I hope comes out of the election is support from the public to say we agree with their plan for Brexit, so that when I go into Europe I've got that backing of the British people," she added.

Personally with me knowing very minimal about politics, I am quite interested to see what happens with this and where it goes from here.

You have to admire some, it doesn't help when everyone starts to complain! I used to work in McDonalds when I was at school and the amount of grief you had to deal with was insane, a lot of the time I had to take the blame when it was actually the staff in the kitchen who were to blame, its crazy- I know its only McDonalds but it did used to get so stressful
