They've introduced a few of these no traffic signals/road marking junctions in Coventry city centre now. It's interesting! You have to slow down and take notice of what's happening. I think I like them.

I was shouting at the screen...give her a wig and a wash! Quick!

I can't believe that was the last episode of the season already!  Shocking turn of events!

My step daughters met him at a book signing on Saturday.  They had to pay for tickets to go and queue with hundreds of teens to get a photo with him and their book signed.  He's certainly doing very well it seems!

I didn't even know much about these YouTube celebs but they're both obsessed with it all.   It was all Smash Hits magazine when I was that age!

..to know who Joey Graceffa is? I now know thanks to my younger and much cooler step daughters. I'll be interested to know if anyone has a clue who I'm on about? He's certainly very popular to a certain demographic!

I think 'average speed' cameras are far more effective, although they need to be operating of course. Just speed cameras are almost pointless as people just slow down then speed up again.

I used to be addicted to twitter (I met my husband on there)..”
How on Earth do you meet someone on Twitter? #ellodarling

never heard of Twitter been used for that, normally just sales spam or abuse

Twitter, in it's early embryonic form, was a beautiful place full of fun and sarcasm, where you could tweet with Jonathan Ross or Kryton from Red Dwarf and look at the whole timeline of EVERYONE on Twitter at the same time. I would look for a funny comment and follow the person. One turned into my husband (eventually. ..I did leave my ex husband for him after us only meeting up once in real life! ) I also made countless friends on there. It's very different now so hard to imagine I guess.  Those were the days!

I can't give a German perspective, sorry. I do completely concur that it is vitally important that we continue to remember those that fought for us and those that died.

My grandparents were both involved in WWII and my grandad never really spoke about it all that much, I am sad I didn't ask him more really, but perhaps that was how he wanted it. My parents have a ship in a bottle somewhere that a PoW made for my great grandad, it used to fascinate me as a child.

I fondly remember learning all about the World Wars at school and we visited the battlefields in Belgium and France, which was amazing. I still remember many parts of that trip vividly and I think everyone should be made to go on it!

I do hate the Daily Fail though!

It can easily be forgotten how lucky we are with the NHS and that the majority of care is pretty good. I had a bit of a crappy time when I had my baby with rude staff and the like and things being forgotten, but we made it out okay in the end (I self-discharged to escape!).

The cancer care appears to be particularly good as my mum was treated really well when she had her breast cancer treatment but terribly with a back operation (I had to put in a complaint and all sorts). The elderly care is also massively lacking in most areas of the country, my poor grandma suffered thanks to that.

I had a mole removed a few years ago under my arm! It wasn't too bad, so I wouldn't worry. Hopefully you get the confirmation of an all clear too. I'm glad you're getting it sorted! My husband is really moley so we have to keep an eye on them!

I guess I'd better drop it from my pitch  I'll hopefully be here in 5 years to officially be successful

I made a profit in my first year, so that must be good, right? (although also suggests I didn't take much risk, which is very true).
