i agree with you. although you do have to be somewhat specific i would imagine. not much use sending a brochure/leaflet about a company selling gravel to a bakery lol

unless, that's how rock cakes are made...

if im honest i think you need a bit of both.

although, if you can generate a great reputation, it might be enough to sway people. if however you are just trying to get people to buy products without them knowing your reputation, the design has got to be important to convince them that you care enough to make it usable and pleasent.

some phones have integrated call blocking - most android devices do, not sure about others.

some cold calls can be quite humorous though, like when a company calls you trying to sell something.....you already buy from them......

i do agree though, most are such a waste of time and downright annoying! sometimes i just want to remove the phone....

one big problem is people are so used to the original lot (.com, .co.uk etc) that they might type in one of those by habit, and get led nowhere......

do agree with the "buy to block" idea though , dont want somebody using your sites name to boost their own lol

reserve and collect to be honest. only i pay when i collect, and make sure to look at the item before i pay for it.

depends on what im after really, but "click-and-collect" or "reserve online" is nearly always my preferred method - especially since some shops have exclusive prices online.
