Late payment of commercial debts 26th October 2011 10:49 PM
I'm a confused about this, does it only apply to business to business transactions? If I carry out work for a landlord of a rental property I'm guessing this is a business transaction.
I have a bit of an ongoing problem at the momment, his tenant required heating and hot water because of the local authority a conventional gas boiler could not be fitted. Because of the size of the property a conventional electric boiler was also out of the question. Anyway eventually I tracked down a company on the internet that provided and ideal solution. A wall mounted electric combination boiler, they came from up north. Anyway I advised my client that this particular boiler was available and the costs supplied and fitted would be around

Ahh a weekend of freedom! Got a funny luck from the checkin girl when had to write down our address, should have booked in as Mr & Mrs Smith

Question is though, after 6 years, did Barney finally get the Bathroom suite fitted?

Should get your new apprentice to do it

No, got as far as the shed though

I've had the new bathroom suite in the shed for nearly 6 years now, so may just pop in and unpack it...

Missed it, but heard all about it As an RBS daytrader though, they are certainly a white knuckle ride!

Here's the basic story here:

Still amazes me that cold calling works? I guess it does because I still get them but I have never bought anything this way?

Has anybody reading this bought something from a cold caller? Just curious.

I love cold callers, gives me an excuse to be abusive on the telephone without feeling guilty. Had two insurance brokers this week, I felt great afterwards, not sure as to whether they felt the same....
I took on a migrant worker today 17th October 2011 1:10 AM
Funny business still construction - some are still holding out for the same money as a few years ago and would rather sit at home.

Has the learn to be a plumber in 20 minute courses seen a load of new people in the business then?

Difficult to say really, the fast track plumbing courses are also now struggling, most of the courses were on finance packages from Barclays, so unless you have the funds the chances of doing a course which costs around

You could try the UK plumbers forum and ask on there, no good asking me as I wouldn't be interested. I fail to see the point in renting a website as you have no control over it, after all if you disappear so does the site leaving the person renting it in limbo. Even if you manage to sell it, I can't imagine you retiring on the proceeds as you'll find most plumbers struggling for work up and down the country so they won't be to willing to part with or gamble their money on a Google place position, just because it's there now dosen't mean it is going to be there next week and nor does being in Google places guarantee your telephone will be ringing. Like I said try the UK plumbers forum, but don't hold your breath in trying to make a quick buck, because we are the champs at doing that!
Well if the Daily Mail readership have anything to do with it, everyone of those accused would have been hung, without even attending court or having a verdict read out.
