Why Health Costs are so high!

Kevin had 'shingles'.
Those of us who spend much time in a doctor's office should appreciate this! Doesn't it seem more and more that physicians are running their practices like an assembly line?
Here's what happened to Kevin:

Kevin walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Kevin said: 'Shingles.' so she wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat.

Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aide came out and asked Kevin what he had...
Kevin said, 'Shingles.' so she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Kevin to wait in the examining room.

A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, 'Shingles..' so the nurse gave Kevin a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Kevin to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor.

An hour later the doctor came in and found Kevin sitting patiently in the nude and asked Kevin what he had.
Kevin said, 'Shingles.' The doctor asked, 'Where?'

Kevin said, 'Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload 'em??'

I wrote to Carphone Warehouse on Friday about my Samsung Galaxy, and have received this reply this morning:

Unfortunately we are unable to edit the settings on the handset to be able to only retrieve emails at certain times, your emails would be received on your handset as and when they are sent.

If you wish to only receive emails on your handset at certain times you are able to disable the internet connection, as when your internet connection is disabled you will no longer be able to retrieve emails.

I have since found out how to delete this email account - peace at last!

It appears that, if I ever take a holiday in the future, I shall have to replace my handset.

I have always sited The Shining as one of my all time favourites. I think Jack was the perfect actor for the part. I am not so keen on his films where he plays a nice guy, as I think he suits the menacing psycho parts.

I caught a small scene of The Shining on Friday night, when his wife dared to enter the room where he was typing. She was trying to offer some encouragement to his writing. His reaction reminded me that this film is a timeless classic.

I have found the settings, keep changing them to "no alerts", but it just ignores that, and reverts to "check every 5 minutes", and "alert when email received".

I can't even find how to delete it all!

Finally, I have just worked out how to receive business emails on my smartphone. Now I cannot work out how to access the settings. Emails are pinging through 10 to the dozen!

Firstly, I only really want it to be active whilst I am away from work. Is there a way of choosing an on/off?

Also, if they are on constantly, am I drawing on my web allowance all the time my phone is on?

Indeed, our ranking has dropped recently, and maybe that's why.

I am just as guilty as you, and would not have known about the changes to Google+, if I hadn't seen your post.

I do think it has a long way to go, I have found myself following lots of people that are not relevant to me or my business, and have struggled to find many that are. However, I'm sure that will change in time.

I still prefer Facebook, but maybe they can both survive without being a threat to each other.

This song was OK for the first few times I heard it. Unfortunately, it suffered from overkill very quickly. Every station was playing it, and still is. I would never buy a song that gets so much airplay. If other people feel the same, their sales are going to suffer.
