There's plenty of customer reviews for each Amazon product, too - that's why my head is still spinning.

I have been looking to my trusted Amazon site, they seem to have the monopoly on good deals and plenty of choices.

Firstly, thank you Steve for starting this new thread for me, I was just about to do that.

Thank you also to everyone else that has posted here.

Not knowing one from t'other, I basically need a reliable, accurate nav, that covers UK and Europe, that has a traffic alert, and maybe a "which lane to be in" detail.

Live everything that we purchase today, there are just far too many choices.

(I'm also looking at changing my car very soon, but I'll save that for another thread!)

Hi - sorry about the late reply. Mine is a Tom Tom, I've forgotten what model, I will check later tonight and get back to you.

Thank you, Melanie.

Maybe I should start a new thread on this, to get a few reviews. I look forward to hearing yours.

Would you share with me which particular one you have, and whether you rate it highly. I shall be buying one soon. Not knowing anything about them, I wouldn't know where to start with all the 1000's to choose from.

cheeky git had re-pasted one of my posts!

He'd picked on the wrong one there, then. Good for you, Steve.

Dangerous upsetting a hypnotist, imagine it, then he said the magic trigger word that he planted ages ago, and she spent the rest of her life running round thinking she was a monkey

...And the problem with that is?

How do you Learn 2nd September 2011 7:49 AM
My first port of call is google, when looking for a specific answer to a stumbling block. I don't know how I ever managed without it.

I have learnt on a "need to know" basis over the years, and have learnt that there is plenty I need to know.

Of course, My Local Business Forum is also an invaluable font of knowledge.
