Furthermore, are your stats showing 2-30 day for your total unique visitors or is that 20-30 per month for that exact keyword alone, excluding all other keywords searched on that from your monthly visitor total?

That is 20-30 a day overall

Lastly, you are showing as No. 1 in Google maps local listing and not in the natural search engine results. Not that it matters, as you are No. 1 top of the page, so mission accomplished none the less.

For that particular key phrase it should be No 1 in google search engine as well. Anyway it was at the top before google has changed it's results page a month ago.

I'd say you'd generate more traffic to your site via a Facebook page than Google if you work it locally, and regularly.

I have got a page there, but it is being covered by dust and web.
What is needed to be done to generate traffic ?

When you want to check the number of searches for a particular keyword or phrase...

I have heard the Google keyword tool is not accurate

Are there any other sources?

As an example, if I check "hairdressers milton keynes" , google comes up with 2400 searches a month.
If I type this phrase in google, my website appears right at the top.
But in google analytics I have only 20-30 visits a months to my website
It just does not make sense to me

Thanks
Local business in Yahoo 29th August 2010 8:26 AM
I have spent a lot of time trying to find a way to add a UK business listing to Yahoo so my listing can appear in the Yahoo maps like in Google maps.
But I couldnt find the UK page, only the US

Any one knows the answer?

Also, is there way to do it in Bing as well?

I would appreciate any tips on making the listing in the maps going up in the search results. I have completed my profile in full with all the keywords and stuff.
I just can't see anything missing there except may be only one thing. That is reviews from known directories such as freeindex or Qype.So my next question is how to make a review from one of those appearing in your google maps listing?
I can see it for other businesses, so it is possible.
Steve and Tomsk both talking a lot of sense.

Quality links are important but so is also ensuring you haven't got deadlinks. I notice they're still dead. I suggest you get a page setup to deal with all the 404 errors.

How will it help?
So this means we should never trust those services who you pay to distribute your links on thousands of sites then right?

Would it then be better to remove my link from that website you pm-ed?
That is a pitty because that website has a high PM of 5
Lina

Will pm you link as we do not want to advertise it here on the forum.

Thank you Tomsk for the link.
But I do not understand what the problem is.
Should I care what other links are there on that website?
I think it more matter what links I have on mine doesnt it?

In other words, I thought G will not like if I have links on my site to some dodgy sites (if I link back to them)
But I though it does not make any harm to me if the websites which link to me also link to dodgy sites

Please confirm where I am wrong
Lina - I agree with all that Steve has said and particularly the google algorithm

As for your links I am not sure if you have paid for them or bought one of of these $50 link finding companies but a quick look shows for example a link to a blog where next to your link I can also find an escort in Miami (and I don't mean the ford escort kind) also I can find an adult friend in India and several dating websites for me to choose from - oh and a sex webcam if all the other things are not required.

There are a few issues with your site that be causing some minor problems but these will be far outweighed compared to the trouble that links such as the one mentioned above might cause.

No I did not pay for the services, I have manually exchanged links with a lot of relevant to me industries.
I am not shure what you talking about, where did you see the escort links exactly?
Noticed if you goto google and type site:yourdomain.com the links displayed all seem to go to 404 pages, ie they're broken, which won't help. (I would at least create a 404 page, as you are showing the default apache one - eg http://www.stylebylina.com/Wedding-H...-Exchange.html)

That is because I have renamed the htm file for these pages
What keyword(s) are you working on?

Can see your page title keywords for your index page are Local Hairdressers Milton Keynes which is number 2 on Page 1 Google

and Home Hair Salon which shows as number 7 on Page 1 Google.

Which is pretty good going for a competitive market.

The keyword is "Hairdressers Milton Keynes"
Competitor: MKhair

Similarly for the keyword "Wedding Hairdressers Milton Keynes"

MKhair is always above

Again, I can understand if it was people like toni&guy, yellow pages or city local, but MKhair has no content, no links and lower than mine PR
