Hi Crislis

So get in touch with me when you next need a suitable blog comment! I'd probably be able to add a chatty comment helpful for SEO purposes tho I've no experience of alternative therapies (so I couldn't advocate any).

Just caught up with this thread.

Interesting concept, but as with traditional link building campaigns, any links have to be random, ie any obvious pattern emerging will soon be picked up, and you will dealt the same penalty from the google god as if participating in a link farm.

But odd sparodic back scratching blog comments I can see working, and I would be interested.

Mind you, means it's about time I actually updated my blog!!

Perhaps we wouldn't upset Google if we played "musical chairs" with our commenting and restricted ourselves to a "one off" offering. Crislis has kindly placed a good comment on my blog, maybe Steve could place his comment on Crislis's site instead of me ... and so on????

Best wishes

Good plan, just looked at Crslis's site, found the blog, but stumped how to add a comment?

The Healing For Health Blog

Can see 3 entries, and nowhere to leave a comment, just an enquiry form to book a treatment

Hi,
Is it worth putting a blog page on my website,I think it would be a good idea.I suppose I could write about the latest wedding info with regards to planning etc..

Let us know what you think on here.

Rosebud

I think it'd be a good move ....

Obviously you want your blogs to appeal to human visitors. Don't forget, though, that if you use the right search terms (defined here as not too competitive - see Google keyword tool) wisely, you might have a chance of getting some of them to Google pge 1, at least for a short period. Good luck!

That is almost a 2 year bump......

But I am interested, I will have my blog running in about two weeks.

Certainly was a bump! I'm always in 2 minds about blogs. Everyone is always really keen when they set their blog up, but the majority of us (unless its just me!) eventually end up getting bored with them, or never get round to updating them. You see so many blogs that are just sat there as unloved sites or failed half ****d marketing attempts, mine included

I think it takes a particular kind of person to run and manage a blog, to be able to keep it interesting, well written and grow a readership, rather than just have a constant stream of self promo sales notices, which in the 1990's would have been called your "news" page

With so much social media around, and more and more blogs making comments "nofollow" to combat spam and appease the Google God, is there still room for the humble blog? Or has/will it morph into something else?

Will Google+ conversations overtake blogs, with the added knowledge that you schmoozing with Google, and he may reward you with better SERPs?
