The mention of playgroups has formed an idea for you in my head......instead of your target audience being the "stay at home mum" why not turn this on it's head and target playgroup leaders and organisers?

Now it's a fair few years since I took my daughter to playgroups but they were always scratching around for cash to buy new play equipment for the kids. If you marketed the idea of "sell clothes to raise funds for your playgroup" you are doing several things.

1) Giving playgroups a revenue stream

2) You have a gathering of people who are likely to buy and I would have thought increased the sales volume as they will also be helping the playgroup (duel function of clothes for the kids and money for the playgroup)

3) The kids are entertained at the playgroup while the mums browse items or catalogues

4) I can't think of a company that does this so you have a great USP

I can't agree enough...I may be in danger of repeating myself now. Usborne offer 'free books' to schools/playgroups so there is huge incentive to the toddler group...parents get all the advantages of the last post, it costs the toddler group nothing and at the end of it they get a % of the sales in free books (in my case)...not sure how that could work for you, except by giving cash back? But, in my experience, they don't have huge funds so are grateful for anything. Schools are always raising money too and often have fun days or open days where people can either pay for a stall or give a percentage back from their sales. You have a captive audience and can both sell your stock and your business idea at the same time.
