Hello All, new to this site and I have a new business that I have started during lockdown, I've spent a considerble amount of time getting the business up and running but I cnanot get customers through the door, can anyone help with suggestions on this, I have advertised on all or most free sites and ran a few facebook ads, I have all my social media in place also. Any help would be really great. My business is a support function, which is essentially a virtual assistant service.
Have you set-up a google account and put in your location , Bing as well.. Get a facebook business page and add content. A big thing I think is to get a blog and get it showing on google/ bing..Don't waste your money on facebook ads as they don't do much for you Times are tough at the moment but just don't give up, just keep at it
Hi,
Can you please share the detail of what category of business you have started at this lockdown. Do you tried SEO and Google ads advertising for your business promotions?. Steve Good, GWC India Pvt Ltd

I was proactive at the start and sought out people that might need me as proofreader, in fact that is how I found Steve and My Local Services as their website had typos on it. Local networking groups are mostly online now but find them on FB or a good business group or two and don't sell sell sell but get known and help people out and give value. Social media takes time but buld an audience, LinkedIn is amazing and that is where I get a lot of business, I have built an audience by posting engaging and interesting content and giving value. Now I get 4-5 leads a day. But it isn't overnight. Also find your niche and therefore your exact target market and use that. There are loads of great tips in the marketing section of this forum. “What the main goal of u business?”
In general, I also have a kind of small business. But it's more like a side job, my main job is engineering. But anyway, extra money will not hurt me. The site on which I work part-time was shown to me by my best friend, with whom I have been friends for over 10 years . There I was taught to make money on Amazon. Yes, it turns out you can also earn money there, I myself did not know. But they showed me some important points and now I am very glad that I found this part-time job and can once again please my wife with some beautiful gift. Thanks, MaxFor

Starting a Virtual Assistant business is actually fairly simple and now that you already market your business but cannot get customers, that is your main problem. In order to get customers, you need to learn the essentials of advertising. It is important to know your target market, the timing and it would be better to invest in working with a coach that will help you grow your business. There are also tools like funnels in which you can create landing pages for your business and get leads by collecting email addresses from prospected clients who will saw your funnel and will subscribe. That way you can send them a follow-up email and you can send them marketing about your business. Thanks, Saber
an ad that is too vague may be a mistake. If you already have customers, find out where they came from and why you were chosen, and build your advertising strategy based on this RMTAP Risk management theory and practice |
