Got a smile on my face as I type as after about 5 weeks I've got 10 minutes to catch up on my favourite forum.

It's been a crazy few weeks working like a maniac with Microsft on our hosted exchange platform. Well worth it though as last week Cloud4 became one of only 5-6 companies in the UK, accredited by Microsoft to roll out Hosted Exchange 2010. Launch day is 11th November but the hard work is done now so I can spend a bit more time getting back into MLF life again.

I'll be catching up with all the recent threads and of course throwing my tuppence worth in too

Dont get me started on exchange as Stevey R knows it was my main stay for years. you cant beat a good bit fo exchanging

some days I could really get my Geek on.

I was on of the system architects on the HMRC exchange 5.5 to E2K3 migration, one of the biggest migrations in Europe 155k seats, so thanks to me the tax man can keep in contact each other and screw your tax up for you.

anyway enough of blowing my own trumpet time to get some mundane paper based work done.

hmm, so you giving the HMRC a more efficient means to send bills to us small down trodden business peeps is a good thing why?

I feel a posse and a burning coming on....

OMG Stavros, I would be scared to put you in a room with our Tech director then he's Mr Exchange too. I could imagine the blowing of my generalist mind lol..!

I must admit that I do miss being a full on geek, there are some days when I could just lock my self in a server room with a full on busted rig and fix away until the sun comes up.

no phones, no peoples asking for money just the encompassing din of server fans, cold pizza and the obligatory copy of computer weekly.
