Whats going on in telly land? BBC journalists are on strike, and we have had cobbled together news all day, so this morning I thought I'd switch over from BBC news and see what this new ITV Daybreak fuss was all about.

Is it me, or does it just look like the one show doing breakfast? Even the set looks the same!

Was never a fan of GMTV, bit too "magaziney" for me, but not convinced with the one show look either. Switched back to cobbled together BBC news

Best Eastenders is on tonight, else there will be trouble!

You have time to watch TV?

Yup, even cobbled together by the B-team, Auntie is still a preferred news source.

Speaking of, has everyone seen Proud Of The BBC? Comedy songwriter Mitch Benn wrote the song and cobbled together a video for it on YouTube and it's become a bit of a campaign, just lousy timing that the release coincided with the NUJ strike.

As one of the commenters pointed out, ITV and Sky would be hard pushed to put together one justified verse...
