Google Product Datafeed thing...?

I am wondering what to do with this does it help Google list your products in its shop feature or what? I have tried uploading the product list as it asks but keep running into all these dang troubles... Not sure if its worth the time or not... I think its called Google Databases?

It is a pain to do - but many business think it works well.

I found the best think to do is take say 6 products and get them working as a feed and go from there - it does not like things like "0" in fields

It definately does help - especially for new websites and if you are competively priced. What software are you using?
