A1 Business Forum is no more!

As most of us are members of multiple different business forums, I was amazed to see that A1BF has been swallowed up by Duane Jackson, the chief bottle washer of Kashflow, an online accounts package.

So the new forum will be the Kashflow Business Forum. Your old A1 link will now redirect.

Our very own Indizine who was a moderator on A1 will stay as a mod on this new forum, so maybe we can have some inside info

I suspect it was it the pain of the forum vbulletin upgrade then subsequent down grade that spelled the end for A1, which used to be a really busy forum. Surprised by the decision not to keep the name, as it it superb name for a business forum.

Best of luck to Duane, and hope he turns it round

I joined a number of months ago and the site appeared to have security issues so never went back

Got the Kashflow email last night about it, A1 had far to much bitching for my liking, this might bring some much needed change and professionality (is that a word?).

PS Duane put out an email so i've nothing more I want to add to that but suffice to say, the death of our other then-forum boss Khalid, Phil's partner at A1BF, was a blow to the plans of the forum.

No. Sara is my business partner (in Fone Alone) and she created some forum accounts (here and elsewhere) but doesn't go on forums regularly like me so when I think to do it I will go in and update the sig links every now and again. I know what keywords I want to link to what pages for our websites so it's just easier for me to do it. I have already asked steve to remedy it

PS On this subject, sara hasn't really got into using forums but my daughter Kathryn will be doing because she's doing more of our online promo now so she will be taking over posting in forums, perhaps slowly to start with as she has less business experience, so as and when she does get aorund to it, it will be her posting under Fone Alone and not Sara.....she can make the coffee instead!! I trust since we want to keep the same username but switch the actual user that won't be a problem?

Would love to know specifics?

To set the record straight I sold the forums simply as my time was becoming too limited to continue to promote it effectively.

Interesting comments though which I look forward to more elaborate answers rather than vague one liners.
