As we know the forum offers a good wealth of information for everyone and has helped allot of people with various business issues.

We all know that for a forum to keep growing and helping it needs to have more members who both can help with spefic topics and also need business help.

so...

I have set a challenge Lets try and generate the forum 5000 members currently it sits around 2800 so we do have some work to do

But with everyones help and effors we could see a good increase in memebers and this can only be a good thing

What do people think?

Thanks,

Interesting, maybe we can get all the jobless to start a business each?

It is a great forum, and deserves to keep growing, so best of luck with your challenge.

Could be a good idea a Job advice forum section

hmmm disagree. Cheers for the vote of confidence, but happy with rate of growth. As said before, member numbers is purely vanity.

Its quality that counts. We're a biz forum, not a johhny jobs board.

You've had one good idea this week Kev, time for a lie down and a recharge

It wasn't an idea lol, a job advice forum wouldn't work on this sort of board anyways! I was just sparking a coversation!

Thanks,

The main value of mylocalforums to me is that you can ask for advice on any business issue that's bugging you at the time and get helpful answers. MLF replaces the network of colleagues you'd have if you worked in a large company.

I also like having "virtual colleagues", small business life can get lonely sometimes! I think the sense of community might be at risk if MLF got too big.

I see where you are coming from although I have been on some forums and it's poor how the forum works and you can't voice a view.

MLF is very diffirent to any forum I have ever used even my own

My sentiments, exactly.
