Have you had any formal acceptance of this approach from the Internet regualtors, such as ICANN or ISOC or any other authorative body?

If not, it may worth seeing if you can interlock with somebody that way to help get the concept off the ground.

so you are looking for people to work for free in exchange for just 5% equity? If so I think it's a tough sell because the equity is quite small.

However, if your budget allows for modest salary then i'd recommend outsourcing to countries like India, Philippines, where you can find decent full-time coders/designers for

Its CRAZY giving web designers a percentage of your business. You could get a student to do you one based on Wordpress or Joomla for peanuts.

Unless what you really need is a web developer to do somethng ambitious for you. Even then, I like this percentage idea not.
