..I would like to ask if you or others would know of any business forums originating in USA?

Reason I ask is I have 2 businesses I work online, the first is international, and can be viewed at: drauen.zeekrewards.com

The second is Community Cash, we are a national (USA) franchise company with a focus on the small to medium size business. We give merchants advertising and marketing solutions, that enable them to compete against the big box stores. It helps level the playing ground.

Thanks in advance for replys

David

Maybe someone else has. I would welcome that information.

Hi Drauen

Hope you don't mind, I moved your question out of the intro thread and into a new thread, as its a good question.

This forum actually started life as The USA Business Forum and we started it originally to promote our USA Business Directory, after struggling to find a decent USA based online business community.

Although we had a few US members, the majority that joined were from the UK, so we rebranded it to My Local Forums, and opened it to everyone.

The largest UK Business Forum, UKBF also tried to launch in the US, but didn't get any further than we did looking at the holding page!

I'm not sure why, but this style of forum doesn't seem to be that popular in the States.

Forums that do seem to do well are things like Digital Point, but it's too spammy and hostile for my liking.

There are some good ones like v7n.com/forums/ which are general web master help, which includes seo, marketing etc.

See what anyone else thinks?

V7N is not that bad actually, but I might be biased as I am a mentor there It's just huge, and unfortunately quite strongly policed as they have a really good ranking and people have tried relentlessly to take advantage of it.

MLF is comparatively smaller, but is also more laid back and allows for a lot of really good conversation that's on a wider scale than just being a webmaster, and its that coziness that make MLF so nice to be around (apart from the jokes being a tad better on a friday )

Digital point and warrior forum. hmmm the safest thing to say is that I am glad I left those when I did. Both forums seem to be in decline and many long standing members have been jumping ship for greener climates.

Thanks,
Dreamraven

What about the Warrior Forum? Although it is largely internet-marketing based, there's plenty of information which relates to all businesses.

That's pretty good from what I've seen, had a nose through it recently, though interesting feedback from DreamRaven
