I think it's more an issue of upfront cost for a new business rather than early starts and cow poo, but fascinating use of technology in the farming sector.

Chains and locks around the wheel axle perhaps? Or maybe sweeten the petrol a little? we get the tractors and all sorts of heavy machinery out here on the roads, its annoying and stinks as well...

I think its cool to have your own robot to help with the milking. I read through how it does what it does, and what really got me thinking is how they actually went about thinking the machine out, planning it etc.

A friend of mine's father used to fix milking machines, and from what I saw when we went with him, it's not all that hard to actually milk a cow around these parts, its mostly done with machines and tubes, the only work done is to get the cows into the milking shed.
