So the office broadband this morning is behaving very oddly, with some sites working fine, and others intermittent or unresponsive (inlcuding some of our own sites).

It turns out our provider, British Telecom has been targeted and someones been ripping up their copper cables!

So if you are a BT user, have phone or broadband problems, then thats why!

Oh no, not you too. its been going on here for a while now. They steal the cables and sell them off at scrap yards that then export them and make a fat profit out of it all.

Thanks,
Dreamraven

Scrap copper is very profitable, I no longer keep any copper tube on any of the vans and haven't done so for over 3 years. The amount of scrap copper I collect legally over a course of a year is...... for tax purposes and just in case the HMRC reads My local forums is around

Thanks,
Barney
