“Micro businesses do seem to be on the rise though, and I think that that may be a trend of how the economy has changed permanently.” Agree totally. It is a shame so many mid sized businesses have failed, especially long established ones, and are micro businesses going fill the void and grow, or remain as lifestyle businesses, which doesn't help employment. Unless we all become self employed!
January & February have always been extremely quiet for me in my photography business, however January & February this year have been busy enough to keep the bank manager off the phone. Business in general seems to have increased this year compared to the same period last year. Alan

“what do you think guys, does that mean the recession is almost over?” The technical definition of a recession may indicate it's over, but the reality is the UK and half the world are in such a poor state, failed businesses, job cuts, lower salaries, govt's that are broke and slashing budgets, austerity measures across the board, that few people will feel like the recessions over for another 3 or 4 years me thinks
