A few weeks ago I noticed that when I click on a link in MLF to open a thread for example, a strange add loads. It happened again. I did not have such experience with other sites, so I am wondering if there is a problem with my browser - Mozilla or it is from the forums ? Can you help me please, as it is quite annoying ![]() Fixed Fee Legal Services | Bespoke Document Drafting | Document Templates
Im loading fine in Chrome. Ive just logged in with Safari & IE and both have loaded ok too. Thats about as far as my techie ability takes me im sorry, will have a chat with Steve on Monday and ask him to look at it but nobody else has mentioned anything or got in touch. Sorry Clive
hmmmm have you installed anything off the net lately? It could be something that's working against Chromes programming. Something similar happened to me a while ago, had to go look under the hood to remove the code. Thanks, Dreamraven
Hm, I am using Mozilla and I tried to clean everything - add-ons, extensions, etc. which might be causing the problem, but still got no clue what`s happening. May be it is the browser, as in chrome it works fine. I think I updated the browser version a few weeks ago. Fixed Fee Legal Services | Bespoke Document Drafting | Document Templates
Ah ok, my bad, Read the post wrong and thought it was Chrome. hmmmm My mozilla did that as well, and I moved onto Chrome. Its not that easy working behind the scenes with Mozilla to find the culprit. Out of curiosity, does it load the same site everytime? or is it different sites when you click on links. Otherwise, have a look at this from Mozilla. There have been instances where mozilla has been hijacked by adware programs before. Thanks, Dreamraven

OK, Steve, I will make a screenshot the next time. It usually does it when I open MLF for the first time in this browser session and stops after I open a few threads. It opens some strange 404 Error page. Fixed Fee Legal Services | Bespoke Document Drafting | Document Templates
Ok, here is the screenshot - what do I do now ![]() ![]() Source: i41.tinypic.com Fixed Fee Legal Services | Bespoke Document Drafting | Document Templates
hmmm very bizzare. The url http://t.afftrackr.com/ simply goes to a 404 and looks like some kind of advertising/affiliate link? Not aware of anything on the forum, but will need to search through some code.
I had a search, and it seems like its a third party affiliate site that's down. So it might be that error that you'r getting. only, I can't really understand why you're the only one seeing this error. ![]() Thanks, Dreamraven |
