Why MLF seems to lose Traffic

Well thank you for your concern It is true MLF is getting less traffic than previously, and there are a variety of factors.

The author tags (pics showing in the serps) were dropped by Google a few months ago after it decided to remove this functionality from forums and multi author articles, and these were very visual, and a good traffic draw.

We also have continually cracked down on spam, and now block or remove over 90% of sign ups. We would sooner have 5 good posts, rather than 50 low grade postcounting SEO ones.

Just looking at your intro, as you are a recent member yourself, and with a Pakistan based IP address, my crystal powers can sense a sales pitch on it's way...

We've never paid for SEO on the forum, it's a free resource, take it or leave it. In fact the SEO that has been done in the past by means of a free challenge, has in the light of recent Penguin updates been more harmful than useful, and confirms my natural skepticism of any paid or outsourced SEO
