So hot on the heels of Ebay separating Paypal into a new company, nor HP is going down a similar route:

From HP's Press Release:

Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Will Define the Next Generation of Technology Infrastructure, Software and Services for the New Style of IT

HP Inc. Will Be the Leading Personal Systems and Printing Company Delivering Innovations That Will Empower People to Create, Interact and Inspire Like Never Before.

So one company will make printers and the other will make PC's

It's interesting though that these huge companies feel the need to reduce in size and specialise in particular areas to remain competitive.

I guess it makes sense, anyone who has worked for a large corporate knows of the supertanker turning circle mentality when it comes to implementing change. In this modern social media and consumer focused world we live in, businesses have to react to a faster pace of life!

Symantec is following suit !!!

Looks like they are splitting in to 2 companies with 1 company concentrating on storage with the other on security.

According to analysts the breakup will make the company more appealing to a potential takeover.

Lower PC sales has had a knock on effect to the software industry, which has seen Symantec to dispose of 2 chief execs in 2 years!

Ok - repeat Steves question now - whos next ?
