Work assignments are like buses

I was moaning that it had gone a bit quiet last week, despite having lots of irons in fires and everything looking rosy a few weeks ago. Now I have 3 new assignments to do and another due through any day now. Plus a heck of a lot to do for a personal project for my parents' wedding anniversary next weekend. And a bookkeeping exam on Tuesday. EEEEK!

I am definitely not moaning, but be careful what you wish for!

Add in a toddler with d & v and the stage is set for a real challenge!  I always get it all done though.

 My experience:

Quiet times are times for focussing business marketing; thats what helps to create a 'Funnel' of prospects &  conversions. In truth, its important to devote some time to the marketing effort , even during the busy times

You're so right.  I need to be a lot stricter about this!

It does seem to be the lot of business life, all or nothing! We are in talks with a number of Councils, and it will either all turn into nothing, or they will all want to go ahead at the same time!

Stops life from being dull though

How did the bookkeeping exam go?

Remember doing double-entry Book-keeping at night school when I first started, trying to keep the costs down, then realised how incompetent I was when it came to maths

I think it went okay, hopefully I passed as I'm away next week when the retakes are!

I am pretty awesome at maths luckily. In fact my next OU course is a maths one.

I have completed 3 out of 4 work assignments now so it's going well.

I appear to be one of those people who is never busy enough as I am always doing several courses, running the business plus looking after my daughter. Crazy!
