I've seen a report that states head teachers are reacting angrily to suggestions that OFSTED are to visit 40 school during the month with no notice of their arrival.

This is in reaction that some schools were reported to be "coaching" their pupils on how to react and behave whilst OFSTED were in their school on pre arranged visits.

As a Governor at a local Primary School i'm all for no notice visits. Surely only schools with something to hide would object? I'm not sure why the school needs notice?

Just seen that some people were automatically given the U2 album without their knowledge prompting complaints and Apple very quickly releasing a delete option.

Its all well and good offering something for free, but its very arrogant to assume that every iTunes customer wants an album by U2, whilst maybe they where/are one of the biggest names in music, not everyone (including me) likes their records.

Personally think that Dicaprio put in great performances in The Beach, The Departed, and Catch Me If You Can.

I really do get that Shakey, but bikers have to accept their part in driving safely too.

Only the other night i witnessed a bike getting clipped by a car - the bike had just filtered ( i think thats the right term) down a line of traffic and then pulled up, very close, to a stationary car. Next thing the car pulls away unaware of the bike (presumably in the blind spot) and pretty much knocks the biker off with the wing mirror.

Personally i blame the biker but i bet a biker would blame the car.

Totally agree that cars need to be aware of bikers but sometimes the riding style really doesn't help them to be seen and filtering in traffic, whilst legal can be massively dangerous, it only takes a gust of wind to sweep a lorry a few inches across the road .........

U2 is allowing all iTunes customers (all 500m of them!)  to download its latest album for free!

Never really been a U2 fan so i wont be bothering, but if you are a fan get your copy soon before they change their minds !

The big 6 Energy Companies are in the process of handing back around £153m to people who switched suppliers or moved address and are owed refunds of approx £50.

Ofgem has reportedly warned the big 6 to step up the campaign and find these people or it will enforce action!

So, big 6 - i'm here
