Red mist descended before i thought about adding flogging, stocks & public humiliation.

Is it just a thirst for revenge, too damn right on this - its my property what right does someone have to damage it?

Right i need a coffee before i ramble on ..............

Not had a full on rant for a while, thought it was too good to be true to continue.

Parked up my car this morning, only to discover some mindless cretin has gouged 2 lovely lines down the offside of my car - why?

Can understand most crimes although i dont condone them, but mindless vandalism, just pis**s me off.

Seems i have attracted an enemy around my area - no idea what i've done, or is it just i have a nice car and they dont?

Do i get it fixed, only for them to do it again, or do i drive round with 2 huge scars down the side of the car?

Arrrrrgh - what a way to end the week

Hmv on the high street 29th May 2014 4:48 PM

Was in Watfords "Intu" (what a ridiculous name for a shopping centre!, think it was called Harlequin before) over the weekend, they still have a HMV.

Also found a Sports Direct, well all the stock was theirs, even the staff where in their uniforms, shop was called something totally different though

Hello Clive

Direct mail is all about personalisation, and targeting the relevant audience. Data research is crucial, to ensure that your message is going to the people that would be appropriate. Direct mail is nothing to do with junk mail, if done properly.

Kind of disagree with you, like i said though, i am pretty unique

ANY mail that i haven't requested i class as junk, no matter how targeted and it all ends up in the bin

I dont watch adverts on TV, i pre record 95% of all TV i watch (mainly because i'm so far behind with things) & then skip the ads - if i want something i will do my own research and gather any info i require before making a purchase.

Anyone else do that or am i on my own?

Reminds me of the Fiat off Cars, even spookier was watching Total Recall last night (the original) - looks a bit like the Johnny Cab, but how close was that film to driver-less cars back in the 90's?

Have to agree with Secureiam, all the fun of owning a car is driving it - would i really want to sit and be chauffeured?

Oh dear Ray, can feel your pain.

Actually thought about changing my car 2 weekends ago. Did exactly the same, rang the garage, explained i was 100miles away but happy to drive down to Milton Keynes on the basis the car was as described.

Got there to discover it was a bag of bones and hadnt even been valeted!!! Exactly the same as you Ray i was not a happy chappy, only i didnt have anyone to stop me ranting, so he got both barrels, reloaded and gave him 2 more.

This was main dealer Audi too !

Johno - look out your window & look for flying pigs - you have just as much chance of seeing one as you do in getting a Tax rebate

Not sure if i can use myself as any kind of indicator as i am pretty unique

All of my free newspapers and leaflets dropped through the door go straight into the recycling bin, i clear the mat as i open the door and walk to my green bin. Even those letters pushed through the door addressed to just the "house owner" go straight in the bin.

If its not addressed to me personally i dont read it, even if it is addressed to me and then if its spam its ripped up in to a dozen pieces!

Insurance - make sure you are covered for Public Liability, thats a given but what about any employees, business interruption, business contents or equipment cover?

Yes insurance is expensive but its a necessary evil, unless you can afford to pay out thousands in the event of a claim. Whilst Employers liability is mandatory, Public Liability isnt, but a must for any savvy person staring out

The one thing that really annoys me is Indian call centres. I'm sure there are some great ones but for train queries and trying to renew a contract with Orange, or should I say EE, I have found them to be quite annoying. They don't understand properly and whilst they really are trying to give you the bests service. They can't as they don't understand and you end up getting annoyed as the call takes forever. Maybe it's just me?!”

I think they are over trained and try too hard to give an over friendly service.

My credit card company uses an overseas call centre and they always ask me how my day is going and what the weather is like - chances are i'm calling with a problem and i want to get straight to the point.

I dont give a rats whatsit what the weather is like, i want my issues addressing. They also have no concept of sarcasm, that can be irritating.

My trick now is if i cant get the service from overseas, i ask to be transferred to the closure team, who i know are based in the UK and usually have far more knowledge or at least the authority to sort my query out. No doubt one day i will get called out and be forced to close my account
