Perks of ipad pos system? 27th October 2016 11:01 AM

If you are considering an ipad or tablet app consider the security. The kit is not specifically designed as a POS and therefore security should be a concern. Far better to choose something that is built for purpose such as the Clover Mobile from First Data. This nifty piece of kit resembles a tablet but is purpose built for handling payment/ordering/stock control etc and has a nice ergonomic handle for making it easy to hold - particularly in a busy environment such as a restaurant.

The fact that it is backed by a major acquirer means that the transaction process is fast, secure and reliable. Plus, you get your money directly into your bank account no fuss. Yes, there are processing charges attached to it so it depends on the volume of transactions you are going to do but for the reliability, security and smooth settlement aspect it is a business decision to be considered.

I need your advice on credit report 19th August 2011 3:22 PM
Hi there,

Just to let you know, we are purely the domain Registrar for 'Check That Company' (.co.uk and .com). The Registrant is a company called 'DMSL' as per the whois but that is all I can tell you I'm afraid.

Thanks,

Flat battery 25th October 2010 4:29 PM
The wife rang earlier to say her car wouldn't start and the central locking wasn't working. Sounded like a problem with the immobiliser but as I am in the office there is not a lot I can do from here to assist. She had a neighbor look at it who diagnosed a flat battery as the cause.

No problem there... these things happen. The curious thing is that it was caused by an interior light being left on. I thought interior lights were turned off automatically when the ignition was turned off?

Hosting Help 21st October 2010 3:44 PM
Shameless plug here too... hope that's OK Steve

I fully understand the need to speak to someone and at your level, whether that be high/medium/low. We have customers at all levels and in that respect we can handle queries of all levels and can assist with migration from another host if required.

We offer UK based shared & managed hosting options (Windows and Linux with Plesk control panel). We aren't the cheapest but we incorporate our support in to our monthly or annual hosting packages and our customers stay with us long term not only because of our reliability but because we can always be reached on the end of the phone. If you are interested check out our website or if you have specific questions drop me a PM

Thanks,

Simon
