Jokes with link building and breaking harts

Is he a great SEO or what?
Wow quite a long article you have there, but it looks interesting, I will surely read it. I also have a blog where I've tried setting up structured data for rich snippets. It really works and it looks good on the serps also but there are a few things that I would like to be shown as well, like images about my article, site links... and so on. I hope I will find some good advice in the aforementioned article thanks.

If you are a person who uses blinds on its windows then you probably prefer intimacy as well. Not to be exposed in front of the great public.

But we cannot argue with the fact that we love to be served, and this is what google knows about people the best. He has the knowledge and the power to serve us. And the fee, ... well you will pay with yourself actually Letting google know everything about you.
Information is power.
If I'm right them Google is a registered company in the US which means that for any claims of any kind arising in any other countries where Google provides its services, the US legislation will be applied.
well, If this is the case then I would doubt it that those goods he's selling are original. Maybe the fakes are made by another company in a foreign country and they are actually selling it under that specific trademark.
Or maybe Primark donated for some organisation and now the organisation is trying to squeeze some money out of it?

Or maybe even more that you know about yourself

Impressive, isn't it?

Don't you try to sell your soul to the devil, cause Google will know that also
Well, what should I say ... I know how they work, though I'm not a veteran in the business but I think if you find a real gem than it's worth a try. We could talk about links and referrals and traffic... and who knows what but try to think with a user's head. Sometimes a well structured business directory can be more useful for the user in comparison with a website designed by it's owner, who doesn't even know what design or usability is. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've met a few people who were hard to deal with when it was about design, or what should be placed on the site and where... I don't even mention seo...

So what I'm saying is quality directories offer you a full page (named: presentation page or listing) where you can place your most important information that you want to share with potential clients, such as contact details, logo upload, opening hours, product exposure (placed in a rotating carousel -this one is my favourite :P ), even news or sell-buy offer exposure, business introduction facility, maps and so on.

I'm not saying that every business should have directory business listing but if you find a great one then try to get the best out of it, and use every single service they provide.

Right, even negative ads can be beneficial.
I dunno, a marketing budget of $0

Incorporate the latest thinking, make sure your designers utilise structured data, and use the latest SEO principles in the actual design.

Try and be different. Why does the world need yet another directory in New York? What are you going to offer that's different to Yelp, Google Local, foursquare or the countless number of directories already out there.

I assume you've done your market research and have found a niche. What is your traffic plan, how will the site be funded? No point putting ads on a site with no traffic, and no business will pay any money for a listing that doesn't stand a chance of either generating leads or have a benefit to their own site.

I genuinely love directories, but it's a different landscape now, than back in 2005 when I started MLS, and even long established directories are failing who haven't moved with the times.

From a standing start, imho you are going to need a decent marketing budget to generate some initial exposure, and then hopefully that will give you traction which you can build on with blogs, SMM etc.

Yes, maybe I expect too much for free. Over the years I've learned that you don't necessarily have to charge people to offer them a useful/good service. By using google adsense we can offer our services for free. Of course as you said, until the site lacks traffic, it won't generate any income.
It will be a hard job, but in the last few years we managed to build up some great websites all over the world so we persist in doing it with this new website as well. Just that we need to move with the time ...

Why another directory? Well we all know (if you agree with me) that competition is ultimately beneficial to the market as well as for users. Even the huge directories can fall if they don't come up with new ideas, plans. If you look at freeindex, how they started and how far they have gotten Amazing.

Anyway, thanks you for your advice I will stick to it
