We have just finished running one for a client it went mad we did it for an IPAD2 within 3 hours it was all over the comp sites and he has over 13,000 email addresses now but the likely hood is 99% are probably never ever going to buy anything

If you build a good link wheel which has done been properly over time then yes the results can be amazing but if you do it quickly then no it will give you low level results. it is a better way of building links via content and by themselves if you take time and do it properly

But with the new update in place will people see that they will now have to try allot harder to write a good article

What do people think? I know its not going to be singing and dancing on the same lines as the dell or Ipad but think of it from the point you could use it within meetings and presentations.

As allot of people know on the forum article marketing is one of the best ways to promote your website adding small anchor text within your article which links back to your main website but do people think we will see the death of article marketing now because of the new Google update?

I bought this question up because we know for a fact allot of the big article sites have been hit and hit hard so just what do people think, will we see a new link building technique coming in or will articles still be the trump card if written well?

Personally I think articles can and always will be good for SEO as long as they are well written and they contain useful information instead of sales pitches.
