I have been noticing on the forum allot of people have been asking about link wheels and seeing if they are still useful so I thought I would touch upon the subject and share my thoughts on the subject. We already know of allot of the link building techniques but for some people on here Link Wheel could be a new one.
How a Link Wheel Works
A link wheel is basically an idea where you don
If your going to create a link wheel then dont create them all on the same date. e.g you register on hubpages, squidoo, scribed, blogger and wordpress all at the same time, create all the posts and links on the same day and then ping them that same day as well. This simply tells Google that you have just created a link wheel and they wont even consider giving you any seo standing by doing this however it wont harm you either. The bast way is to create a content rich article on say hub pages leave it a week, then make another on squidoo link them together. Repeat this each week for other web 2.0 sites which are basically just free blog platforms, do this over a month or two and it will lokk natural to google. Paying a spammer $10 to do this in 3 or 4 days wont increase your serps as, all links are created together, pinged together and spotted very easily. Hope this helps anyone about to do a link wheel.
Never really understood the concept, so cheers for the post, but I'm still a bit baffled. It seems a lot of effort, for something which sounds like it could be greyish hat SEO? Isn't it easier just to guest blog or write an article and get 1 decent link. Or do link wheels done properly offer super duper results? ![]()
If you build a good link wheel which has done been properly over time then yes the results can be amazing but if you do it quickly then no it will give you low level results. it is a better way of building links via content and by themselves if you take time and do it properly Thanks, Kevin.Wiles
“heelllooooo” I keep seeing you post the same think (which is nothing at all really) are you just trying to get your posts up? garlex

“hi friends, i'm fresher in seo. linkwheel is more effective strtegy, thanks for your sharing.” I'm not being funny, but that's not exactly contributing anything or sharing any SEO wisdom. "Linkwheel is more effective strategy" - can you elaborate why you think this? Do you have evidence and proven experience to back this up? |
