Wow, I am pretty good with this stuff (my husband calls me paranoid about raw meats but I know I am just being sensible wiping down surfaces etc.) but there are things here that I don't do. With marking the shopping bags, can the bugs really survive for days in bags until next time? I never eat all the leftovers within 2 days either. Food for thought indeed!

It's a mess. It's a rubbish deal, it was a rubbish idea in the first place and the people dealing with it all are rubbish. Feel free to swap the rubbish for something less forum friendly! We have a government as they are meant to be putting the country first and seeing the whole picture so why they are continuing with Brexit is beyond me as it is and has already been terrible for the country.  The referendum wasn't even legally binding, they didn't have to  go through with it.  The campaigns were flawed massively on both sides as no-one really knew what was going on. 

Sadly, they will never all put their heads together and work on what's best for everyone, it will continue to be run by self-centred ego-maniacs as the media and big corporations have far too much power. Time to go and live on a tiny island again....now where is Guy Fawkes when you need him 

I have already done some Christmas shopping. But only from retailers I have used before and know their prices.

Thanks Simon, I appreciate the input. I very nearly signed up with a web designer who trains you to do your own but I just don't have time at the moment! I will budget some money for it next year, I am still on the first page of Google for Proofreader in Coventry without a website, so it is not a desperate situation. It will be my first full tax year working increased hours and really pushing things next year so I hope to look into it more then, and the following year I will have even more time. Currently paying for childcare for my son so I have to prioritise the work not the actual business. If that makes sense.

Disgraceful!! And I'm glad they were fined too. I go for the lesser known brand phones and use Android. You don't need an overly expensive phone to have a decent one these days! 

Good! I'm glad people are showing solidarity and walking out. I remember being subject so some dreadful treatment as a waitress by my managers in several workplaces when I was only very young. It's just depressing that it all still goes on. I really hope things continue to change in the right direction.
