Looking for PPC Services 23rd January 2012 7:04 PM
I am looking for a PPC Management Service. We are a small business with small budgets, so if you are interested and feel you can get us good ROI, feel free to PM with your details and what you can do and how you charge.

Please don't call or get sales people to call (unless you are asked to).

Thank you.

Thank you all. This was solved a while ago. We have a tool that allows me to do all that and a bit more.
SaaS / Cloud Software 14th December 2011 12:52 PM
I am looking for some advice or recommendation on a software. I am look for something that will help us calculate how much time we spend on each client. I also want to know how much of that time is billable and how much is under the contract.

Any recommendations or advice is welcome.

That's a lot of money for a directory. Unless you are a site botw o yahoo directory, I would not pay those rates.

Thanks.

Steve, you have no idea the kind of nightmare I've had with Google Places. I believe that Google were making a lot of changes at one time caused my places account to completely disappear for a while. Another time, it had someone else's contact details for while...I think Google Places is now a lot more settled.

In "my opinion" I would not get too dependent as search/places being the main way to generate business. You need to have other methods or balanced approach. You can easily disappear from search or lose your ranking. It can happen to anyone.

Hi, Tomsk, I don't believe testimonials alone help. We rank on No 1 search position for "IT Support London" on Google Places, and often on position 1-3 on natural search position for "IT Support London" and normally on page 1 for "IT Support" nationally although we are a local business. I have had a lot ups and downs with places and a lot of this is well documented on forums.

Your places account needs to tick all the boxes, meaning, be thorough. It helps to refresh the content once in a while. Obviously feedback is important, but I don't believe it's everything. I have seen people who have 3 testimonials outrank people with 20 or more...

A good business idea in my opinion is one that you are passionate about...and one that hopefully will be profitable.
HP to stop making computers! 29th August 2011 9:01 PM
I have a HP laptop, only 2 months old with a 3 year guarantee - do you think they'll have a huge stock of spares etc and then just move over to replacing with competitor brands if need be?

I don't think you will struggle for HP spares for some time. The chances are it will be taken over by another company (my guess).
