My tip would be a company called Monitise, they build the apps / platforms that allows banking transactions to take place via mobile phones and ipads etc.
With over 200 banking and financial institutions signing contracts with Monitise. Also Visa bought over a 14% stake in the business and I believe HSBC bought an 8% stake. It is a fairly new business and is a high risk long term investment so not for the nervous investor wanting to make a quick buck current trading around the 0.35p mark...

I'm guessing most people will after 30 / 40 years of doing the same work, day in day out they tend to get bored with it. Personally I can't wait to retire or just reduce the amount of hours I currently work from around 100 to 40hr working week would be nice to start with...

I'm still having great difficulty in understanding where or how clients or potential clients materialise from tweets or tweeting all day long. If a customer is looking for something to purchase it's not as though they are going to go to Twitter to look for it, is it? So unless it is to do with pushing a particular link up the search engine rankings, then your going to need quite a few followers all re-tweeting.....

I have thought about this recently, my thinking of this is, is to keep the business ticking over and to let a couple of keen youngsters take over the day to day running. And for me to just take a monthly payment, but anything can happen between now and retirement, could win the lottery or could go bankrupt you never know until it happens...

retwitting is a sign of that your content is valuable, but it's not target.
target is to convert your followers into clients.

Ah... well that kind of makes sense, the trouble is with that and I'm only going from experience and that is, most of the people who follow me (and that is limited) tend to follow those that are in the same industry as themselves, so out of courtesy as one follows one person that person then follows back (sometimes) thereby making the whole thing pretty much pointless. The only people who are not in the construction industry following me are Lucy, Daisy and Bethany who want me to look at their photos

To be honest I have no idea what it's about, but all the same I joined 10 minutes ago It is free, allows you to interact with other users, it seems to love Facebook, Networkblogs etc allows you to leave links and set up a profile. It does seem to have plenty of members mainly from the US but generally from all over the planet. There is something about them giving you free credits to place adverts and looking briefly I think you can purchase additional advertising space. Like I said previously I just came across it by chance in someones blog, so I don't know whether it's good or bad for business I'm just seeing if others here have come across it, after all what do I know, I'm just a humble plumber who knows how to write a good invoice!

Am I right in thinking, it makes little or no difference how much you tweet, twirp or twit unless your tweeting twirping followers are tweeting and re-tweeting your tweets and twirps then your tweet is basically just another twitless tweet?

The problem I found with Facebook is, is that everyone I quite happily left beyond in another world 30 odd years ago found me. After attending countless reunions during the summer 2 years ago. The reasons I left them all in the first place soon became even more apparent. Eventually I ended up parting company with the site
