I know one plumber you won't find either in yell or Thomson directories. Both yell and Thompson got gready in the past and ripped off loyal customers. All my customers have to have internet access to pay online, so these 2 directories are long gone out of my life.... Even if they were free to advertise in they simply do not appeal to me....

Have to be honest and say i dont do the set up on my Laptop - i leave that to ex Mr IBM techie, aka Steve

I hate change, yes i know im a technophobe but i just get used to the old machine and then i manage to kill it - unintentionally

Steve has tried his best to make it look like my old Windows 7, but it really isnt - the colours are different (those that i can see anyway), the layout is different, ive had to upgrade to Outlook 13, thats different - im sure im going to spend the next 6 months messing with it before im happy.

I also have a massive problem with my iTunes - neither Steve or myself can get my folders to come back properly on the new machine - arrgh - i hate change !!!!!

I do understand that things need to change and upgrade but why does that actual operating side of things, style colours, themes etc have to change too. Why cant Windows 8 be like the previous versions just with extra bells & whistles - i wonder how many man hours are lost to upgrading pc's/laptops and staff messing with settings to get their old themes back?”

Glad I'm not the only one, seem to have lost all my itune downloads after purchasing a new iphone, always seems to be some sort of complication when i have to reload or upgrade an app of some kind. And then having to spend days trying to sort things out via email or even worse having a conversation on the telephone with someone in Delhi...

I'm failing to see how we are a prosperous country, your right Steve this is all to do with the forthcoming general election. Ok so the unemployment figures have gone down or rather have been manipulated, but and no offense to the dog walking businesses that have set up over the last couple of years, but realistically they and similar types of businesses are hardly going help make the UK prosperous as their tax contributions will always be next to nothing and is probably on par with being an Avon lady. Then you have the people on tax credits no idea how many are on this but quite a percentage of the low paid workers are, so you now have a situation whereby taxpayers are subsidising large companies to survive by allowing them to pay low wages because the tax payer picks up the tab to pay their staff a wage to make it worthwhile them going to work.

The idea that the tax I and others pay to HMRC is to fund the likes of education, health services and all the other services we require in this country is absolutely fine, but all these services are being cut back. The armed forces are now more or less totally reliant on the territorials than full time service personnel and the only place I see this money going to is on tax credits. The Government is borrowing billions for this new building programme, with new roads and a new garden city, with more building generation going on in East London. So the country ends up in even more debt. I'm struggling to see how or why a country that is already trillions in debt can ask the world bank for more money and gets it, yet a small business with a properly thought out business plan can go to their bank ask for a few thousand and gets rejected because they don't tick all the boxes, which have been set by the Governments financial watchdog........

Glad that that has now been done and dusted, there was no way the sentence was going to be reduced or altered. The pair of them have now exercised their legal right to an appeal hearing, they've now had it. I've never been in favour of the death penalty, mainly because miscarriages of justice can and do happen in our legal system. But when something such as what happened to Lee Rigby is carried out in plain view of the public and media, it makes you want to make an exception to the rule in cases such as this. My gut instinct tells me that one day the pair of them will be found dead in their cells....

Have been watching a certain television shopping channel over the weekend, they kept going on about this Black Friday nonsense as a sales gimmick, yet still selling viewers the same products at the same price as they do all year round, popped into B&Q nothing too exciting going on in there just your normal Sunday crowd looking at laminate flooring, went to Pets at Home, nothing, went to my local shop and they have no idea what a 'sale' is apart from the sandwiches which have past their sale by date by at least a week. Not much cop in the likes of DFS having a Black Friday sale as they constantly have a so called sale or rather a manipulation of the prices to sucker people in to parting with their cash.... Think it was more of a Northern thing really

It doesn't take the army or any of the forces too long to make you think otherwise

You wouldn't want to be on the same road as this nutcase......

As I'm in a festive mood, I've got some state of the art all singing all dancing, super green, high efficiency cheap boilers both electric and gas currently on sale from only £10!!! You do however need to have them installed by us, which is going to cost you £2750.00..... Bargain.....

What gets me is people in this country expect to buy goods and materials for next to nothing and then moan that employers are only paying their workforce a minimum wage.....

With that amount of alcohol inside them I would think that they were pretty close to killing themselves with alcohol poisoning.....
