When we downsize 20th April 2010 6:25 PM

I would appreciate any tips on making the listing in the maps going up in the search results. I have completed my profile in full with all the keywords and stuff.
I just can't see anything missing there except may be only one thing. That is reviews from known directories such as freeindex or Qype.So my next question is how to make a review from one of those appearing in your google maps listing?
I can see it for other businesses, so it is possible.

You know, honestly....I cannot fathom out how Goog maps work. I was quite frustrated then after a few weeks I see I am on the map, near the top on almost every config of a search parameter. No rhyme nor reason in this posters opinion.

Love custom trikes! Retirement=tattoed Kip on a trike around the world, like Billy Connolly

Danger is buddy, I could just go out and get one right now, with a trailer, let my hair grow...maybe not...sport a quality bandanna, grow a nice grey 'goaty' pick up some pals (if I could find some, mostly all in heaven now) and make like Wild-Hogs.

Perhaps better in thought and on movie than real life, but what a hoot to do. Become a romany trike rider and turn your back on life. Could just see me riding free, no helmet with a blonded amazonian on the 'ol-lady' seat. Ahhh dream on Michael me boy....dream on.

When the time comes to downsize and in all honesty I hope it is not that far away i will be in the fortunate position of having a bit of cash left over. Since I sold my Harley (pictured) I have constantly missed it. The following Trike pics are what my fun mode of transport will be.

Doggy on heat 19th April 2010 2:16 PM
A little girl asks her mum, 'Mum, can I take the
dog for a walk around the block?'
Her mum replies 'No, because she is on heat.'

'What does that mean?' asked the child.

'Go and ask your father. I think he's in the garage.'

The little girl goes out to the garage and
says, 'Dad, can I take Lulu for a walk around
the block? I asked Mum, but she said the dog was
on the heat, and to come and ask you.'

He took a rag, soaked it in petrol, and scrubbed the dog's
bottom with it to disguise the scent, and said
'Ok, you can go now, but keep Lulu on the leash
and only go one time around the block.'

The little girl left and returned a few minutes
later with no dog on the leash..
Surprised, Dad asked, 'Where's Lulu?'

The little girl said, 'She ran out of petrol about
halfway round the block, so another dog is
pushing her home.'

Oh Kevin I have just spent three days detailing my Daughter's Ford Kuga. Machined, polished, sealed and waxed with Zymol Concours. Mike you thought about agency work?

Tomsk

I think I have considered everything...hopefully. I am registered with several specialist agencies and also on CV log-sites that recruiting agencies can pull from. I have one job to do at some next week which is a couple of days and that is it!

I have not even had a work based call let alone any enquiries. I worked hard getting my site as high up as I could but it is really down-heartening when you don't even get a sniff.

Not for consulting purposes, but as far as employment goes I know as far as they are concerned (employers) I am over the flippin hill at 55. Thing is my brain has not yet clocked the fact I am 55, nor fortunately has the body. A few lines here and there, but I still have life in me...I just need an opportunity. I could so be an excellent employee for an organisation.

By all means if you think I might be missing the wood for the trees, do say.

Out of an initial 40, only two were selected for final interview; your truly was not one of them....sadly. Feedback wise, I was informed that I was completely over-qualified and over experienced for the role. Seems it turns out to be a 'puppet' management position and they felt that I was not the right person to be controlled so much.

San-fairy, tis-what-is. Back to the drawing board.

Thanks for the calls and your support....really means a lot.

I just want a bl00dy break! Despite all the work on the site the phone is just NOT ringing. WHAT on earth is wrong? I know there is a need for H&S, so why am I not being contacted?

New 50% tax rate comes into force 12th April 2010 7:53 PM
I so wish earlier generations had experienced the down-side of a labour government, that way the Tories would have a huge % lead.

One finger salute also from this poster.
